jadawin
Decided to start the new year with a bang, so im going with a LDCH XIII Anniversary Partagas i got from a VERY generous friend. This is one of those smokes i hadnt heard of before, and probably will not come across again, which is why im being sure to make note if it for everyone here, haha. Im not doing a formal review, my reviewing skills wouldnt do this smoke any justice. So far this thing has a very nice spice to it, you know your smoking a Partagas as soon as you get this thing going. Even with all the spice, it is very smooth and has a complexity i didnt expect in a partagas this size. Medium bodied smoke so far (about in inch and a half into it) and i can tell this is going to be one cigar i wont want to end!

It is mentioned in MRN's 2005 page 345: 'The Partagas X and XI cigars were made to celebrate the 10th and 11th Anniversary of the Casa Del Habano Store in the Partagas Factory during the "Partagas Dinner", an event started in 2001 and which will be held every November...limited number...produced by Partagas Factory' XIII is from "Partagas Dinner" held November, 2004.
