havanaclub7
I recently tried the Shotfire Ridge Shiraz by Thorn Clark at a wine tasting. I can't believe how great the wine was. Full mouth of rich, ripe black fruit, a nice amount of silky tannins and some exotic spices like chocolate and mint. The wine had a good 30+ second finish too. After trying, I can understand why it made Wine Spectator's Top 100 list. Anyone who likes rich, full bodied chewy reds should pick up the Shotfire Ridge before it runs out! Ken Gargett
with all the usual respect to the prez, i'd be concentrating much more on their reds. some terrific stuff. think the shotfire is the mid range. tried the sadnpiper the other day which is bottom rung, so to speak, and it is also a cracker. Prez, I'll definitely look for the Pinot Gris. The Shotfire Ridge Shiraz stood up to a $65 Napa Valley Cabernet and then some. I agree with you 100% that they drink far better than the price. I'm also a fan of the Terra Barossa Shiraz.
