...were discontinued when exactly? I have seen early '80s as the last date for production(Trevor's site), but recently saw a box of '91s (JM-OUSI)

Also, anyone have any experience w/ this cigar? Good, great, unfreakinbelievable??

This is interesting. MRN quotes the source of the production period of 1976 to early 1980's, as Adriano Martinez.

A similar post on another forum has not received any replies.

I think I know what vendor you are referring to......in Australia, yes? That is where I saw them and it made me curious.

I have smoked and really enjoyed one of these 91's that Damien purchased. I swore to myself that I did not understand why they discontinued such a tasty treat as the Dip No.7. Not sure as to when they were Discontinued, but a real treat if found in my opinion.

Out of curiosity I just took a look myself as I had not been there in awhile. The difference between the two has me wondering.

I received the following advice.

"Regarding Diplomatico No.7, it the regular stock has actually been discontinued since the early 90s (so I have removed it from our site). The only stock that we have is vintage CubaTabaco - with a manufactured date of 08 / 1992 (Code -JMOUSI). The cost for these is $625.00."

This vender often has items listed that are not in stock.

Does anyone have any knowledge of Dip 7 between 1982 & 1992?

Word for word the answer I got. Seems too strange to me....I will pass on those as I have not gotten any other information.
