Diplomatico #1 discontinued?

I know they were on the cut list for last year and I seem to recall Rob saying that after Dec. 06, production was going to cease.

However, I recently saw a box code of MAY 07. Could this actually be correct?

Are these still being produced? What's the most recent box code anyone else has seen on these?

I have only been able to get one box and the box code is FJN JUL 05.... This is the last box left from what Pacific have told me

Still being sold overseas at various LCDH. I have requested box dates & codes...

Yes, they are no more. And I doubt that they'll be reincarnated as some Regional Edition. There's never been much of a market for these.

At its worst, the Dip No. 1 is a bland, non-descript cigar. It pales in comparison to the front line lonsdales. But at its best, it's like a fine dessert: rich cocoa notes, swimming in paprika spices, with sweet orange zest to top it all off. I've had boxes that simply melted in my mouth, not unlike a fine liqueur.

Ah, but you pays your money and you takes your chances. Some of the very best are from mid to late '05. And as the man says, so are some of the worst.

I find it strange that there was a box with an apparent May 07 code. I havn't heard of anything older than 05 myself (that doesn't mean much!).

Feedback from one of the LCDH in Germany is that they are selling aged stock. Feb & Oct 2003. The word is "definitely discontinued".

07 is either a fake or a misread 02......????
