I have never touched a washing machine since the day I was married 20 years ago.

Smart man. Ruin her favourite blouse once and it is the last time you will be asked :-D

and you hunt or gather exactly what?

after all the keystone cops pig shopoting stories you were telling last night, i think you wife has got the rough end of the pineapple.

» Does that work for you, Steve? ;-)

Alas, no. Having a home office next to the laundry room gives me little means of escape from this chore. Somehow I think my wife engineered my office location on purpose.

Fool. It is the perception that counts. I have never had a good day at the office. Every trip is a chore on which I fall ill on day one and miraculously recuperate the day before I arrive home. All I wish in life is to spend more quality time with my family.

Shame you couldn't make the long lunch today Ken ;-)

This from the man who arrived at 5pm to Czar house yesterday and needed 2 litres of water, two cigars and 4 hours to sober up before the drive home.

And thankyou for the help in dealing with my client Mr. Knight. As I was taking his money (at 5pm)...in strolls Ken and announces"Why are you buying that crap!" "Oh my God he finally sold those!"

Thanks mate :ok:

two cigars -- just helping build the reviews.

and 4 hours to sober up - outrageous slander. i had a tough day with a series of tastings (let me tell you that 1996 krug is something special and the sassacaia 01 and bouchard montrachet 2000 and '96 salon and latest bolly and so on all have considerable merits) and was keen to spend a little unwind time with some mates. sober as a scout.

before the drive home.

And hand on heart, did raplh make a wise purchase? those (out of respect for all the hard work you do, i won't name them though have given my views on them before) sticks are some of the clsoest things to compost since my sister's dog ate something it shouldn't. i just didn't want raplh to think poorly of you (yes, there was no way i could write that with a straight face).

He actually likes the Cohiba Seleccion Robusto 5 packs and has purchased them many times before. Now granted they would not be my purchase....but when he comes in and asks for them....and hands over his CC who I am I tell him he is a moron who has just spent $150 AUD on compost......as you did :surprised:

Never a dull moment with you around ;-)

with respect, i think that what i actually said was that i assumed they must be a present for someone he didn't like, rather than specifically call him a moron.

Grumpy old men - and getting chewed on by said tiger would probably make one pretty

grumpy as well. I wouldn't know anything of S&R's "down under" status.

Funny..although as the guy in the house with a science degree, it's become my chore! Oh well, at least I can smoke in the house (next to the fireplace, anyway!)
