And I need suggestion on smaller cigars for short puffing sessions, so please let me know what you think are good but small Cuban cigars. And by small I mean smaller then Petit Coronas...or at least cheaper...so you can pitch it if it was colder then you suspected. Also, please devide'em in milder morning kind of smokes and fuller lunch/evening smokes.

Cohiba Siglo I is a full short, but not cheap smoke- not a pitcher. Partagas Serie du Conn #1 is a thin strong cigar for the evening Partagas shorts are some of the best all round little cigars and not to high$ San Cristbal has a great small cigar that I can not recall the vitola name help me out here guys. HDM du Marie is very small and could be a tosser if needed the du Depute and du Prince are also worth looking at. It is really hard to toss any of these smokes cause they may be small but not on flavor.
winelover Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Look no further than the trini reyes - a perfect size for a short smoke. Otherwise for a slightly cheaper smoke, go for the monte 4. You cannot go wrong with either of the above. Also don't be put off the monte 4, for being the most popular cigar, it is not his fault! At least in the UK, the quality of the monte tubos (monte 4's) is faultless.
bobsled Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Monte 5 isn't bad either, and not too expensive! Partagas Chico's are cheap and small mm's, haven't tried them yet though so cannot vouch for the smoke itself.
smokum Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I just stocked up on winter smokes...I am gearing up for winter too !! I have Cohiba Panatela, Hoyo Du Maire,Montecristo Joyitas...don't make me pick one !! they are all pretty good. I still won't toss one though !

And if it is ultra cold smoke a Partagas Chicos. They deliver surprises when it comes to taste! And COJ, colder weather calls for other small things too! ;-) Had to laugh when I saw the thread title.
El Presidente Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Trinidad Reyes and Ramon Allones Small Club Coronas are my initial choices as a morning cigar. Partagas Connoisseur No 3 foe late morning or quick after lunch. Bolivar Corona Junior and Por Larranaga PC for late afternoon.

I will always have the partagas shorts in my humidor, these have never disappointed. I usually only smoke in the evening or afternoon and they are full flavored and satisfying. I have also enjoyed the Trini Reyes as well but find them mild/ medium for my taste, these might be a good AM cigar. Having said that, I ordered a variety of 8 smaller vitolas (3 of each), many of them already mentioned above, from Lisa recently and will try them as the cold weather arrives.
Professor Twain Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 I'll add one more to the suggestion list. The Por Larranaga Panatella is a cheap, small, but flavorful cigar. Because they are a little less than $3 apiece, it is no great crime to pitch them as well. This has become my go to cigar for yard work in the heat (no cold weather to worry about in Florida).

Hey COJ when I posted earlier I said Conn #1 but I did mean the smallest Conny which is the #3. This is one Robs favorites and he is not wrong, this time. I just bought a box from his and theya re quite stout if you like that sort of thing. Good luck with the clod smoking. I have gone through many means to smoke what I want to. A hot tub is great!;-)

Not very complex, but quite flavorful, particularly considering their size. Heh heh. I just Googled Partagasesque, and got zero hits. Think I'll copyright that. :-D
