El Presidente Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 The Rugby Tri Nations Final (Australia V Kiwi All Blacks) is on this Saturday. The All Blacks (New Zealand) have a history of being the best team in the world. This is principally because most Kiwi's are unemployed and can hence train more often ;-) Click on this YouTube Link to get an understanding of the Series so far. It is from a KIWI perspective and Likely outside of Australia/New Zealand/Seth Efrika...you won't understand a bloody thing.......but it is Friken hilarious
Colt45 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 :lol2: I especially got a kick out of the repeated reference to the penile colony aspect.....
El Presidente Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 » :lol2: » » I especially got a kick out of the repeated reference to the penile colony » aspect..... The reference to the largest stadium in the country ....the Melbourne Cricket Ground known as the MCG as Massive Convict Gathering was a stroke of genius
ARRV Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Check out the Canadian test preview as well - very vey funny
Wiley Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 That's some damn funny, uh, stuff, although I can't understand everything he says. I watched some of the other ones too. All good. Is that something that plays on TV?
Ken Gargett Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 outsiders need to understand that this (ie, kiwiland, the land of the endless whinge) is a nation (if we may take liberties with that term) that has absolutely nothing, i mean nothing, in its life other than a massive chup on its shoulder and a bit of sport (who can forget the immortal words of h g nelson during the sydney olympics when nz finally jagged a medal - "its a bronze rush" and they then pointed out that it was an appropriate medal - they got it for rowing. sitting on their bums going backwards). it has rugby, bitching about a one day cricket game from nearly 30 years ago (when they should be thanking the aussies for giving them a reason to get out of bed in the morning and pretend they are not in stuck in the fifties - even if the reason for getting out of bed is to whinge endlessly about us) and also a few boats floating around, long after the rest of the world got bored with it. after the loss in the america's cup, and the only way most aussies found out it was even on was kiwi mates sending hundreds of ultimately pre-mature emails about their prowess, they had to change their national anthem (it once read, 'god loves new zealand, he gave us boiling mud) from 'choke, choke, choke' to 'glug, glug, glug'. and where else would you film lord of the rings but a place with a capital called 'orcland'. don't forget that someone put new zealand up for sale on ebay. bidding reached $3,000 but the condition was vacant possession. all that said, the trout fishing makes up for everything and without the kiwis, we'd have to go back to hitting cane toads with golf clubs.
winelover Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Very funny post guys. Funny thing is you both have to share an almost identical flag!
Ken Gargett Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 » Very funny post guys. "Manic agression"! Fantastic! Unfortunately Ireland will not win the world cup.

winelover Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Very surprised that no Kiwi members have begun gloating about the score (or perhaps the mods have been at work!!). Great to see a rugby thread tho.

Great to see a rugby thread tho. I think the 1 try win in NZ was a tad....underwhelming ;-) There are cough lozengers being passed around to the All Blacks. Suprising 4 yearly symptoms of a tightening throat re-appearing. Must be a world cup around the corner They deserve favouritism for the world cup in October but they have a problem. No one fears them.
winelover Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 The Kiwis sure are renowned chokers. Can't wait for the tournament although a good world cup for England probably means reaching the semis, rather than a realistic defence. Recent six nations performances have been absymal, and although there's now new management, yet to see any positive signs. Will be interesting to see if France turn up to their own party.
Freefallguy Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 » chup on its shoulder » called 'orcland' It’s always a hoot reading your kiwi posts… I especially found the two references above amusing. Whenever anyone asks about our trip, we tell them without reservation that we loved the land of NZ and the people of Oz. Having said that, let’s go to the scoreboard… http://www.rugbyheaven.smh.com.au/articles...4560103146.html

diab0lik Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Sad day for aussies on saturday i had to endure wallabies losing and then soccerroos. luckily i had a r&j churchill in between and that kinda made up for it.
Ken Gargett Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 » Tri Nations me Arse... ;-) Wait for the World Cup in September ...Its » Irelands time now!! » i have already taken 15-1 on ireland. unfortunately it is in magnums, not money. worth the punt.
