Partagas Short - 2005

Just received a box of these last week. Though that I would break into one and see how they smoke. I had not smoked a Partagas cigar for a number of years. One of my favorite cigars a while back was the Partagas Corona.

This minuto was very tasty. It was a great looking cigar. Perfect draw. The flavors reminded me of how good this cigar can be. Toasty Habanos flavors. I dare say it had a great toasted marshmallow flavor. Very smooth for a year and a half old cigar. (Nov 2005)

This has been one of the finest Habanos I have smoked this year.

Lasted about 30 minutes. I would highly recommed these cigars for the price.

Smoked one the other night from April '06. Very tasty, despite it's youth.

One of the regular cigars I enjoy when time is pressing. The 05's I have are from Dec and are smoking great now.

had one of these with rob just before he left. normally don't go for the smaller sizes but was really pushed for time.

enjoyed it a lot - my overriding impression was lots of spice, citrus and especially orange rind.

anyone else seeing that?

06 are smoking good to me, but somehow I feel like they need something, don't know what. Draw of the couple of boxes I have may be too loose.

I agree, a very enjoyable cigar. I recently purchased a box after a friend turned me on to them and plan to purchase another cabinet as I heard they are even better.
