bigkev
I have heard some great reports on the Ramone Allones Specially Selected, but before I found this site I had ordered some from Canada and was somewhat dissapointed. Maybe they were too young. What would be a good year to get a good idea on their true potential? Thanks!

I have gone through about 4 of my early 06 box and they just keep getting better and better. Most likely will purchase another box to put away. Colt45
I have a box from '05 - I don't know the codes offhand. So far, they have all been rather underfilled, and lackluster in the flavor department.
Well Armed
I doubt you will find any RASS in the vintage market. This is not a cigar that you can usually code-hunt for. Get a late 06/early 07 box fresh and see the difference. I have never had a bad box or cab. Yeah, get a cab!

Some spectacular 06 examples were had and then again some gorgeous looking boxes had little to no flavour. Not much you can do except pray that father time brings them around. Keep the humidity no higher than 65% and put them away and forget about them. If the tobacco quality is good there is every chance they will come around. I had shared a box of POS MAR06 with a friend and they were absolutely fantastic fresh but I wish I had bought a second box to age.

Tampa1257
I love a good RASS. If you want to smoke The Quintessential RASS, then smoke a 2001 or older right now. I have smoked several 2002's that are out of this world. A RASS IMHO needs at least 5 years to truly know their RASS from a hole in the ground. The 2006 production that I have smoked has tasted good for a young cigar, and I would get a box of them to put away for 5 years, and you will have Classical flavors .
