Cam Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 just like to declare to rob and the rest of the guys, I join in the holy crusade against ken.. :-D
Freefallguy Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Awesome photos! Almost surreal. I would have needed a case of Depends had I been on board!
olotti Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 » Somehwere below deck there are some big pumps working their ass off. Looks » like the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald all over again ! That is exactly what I was thinking. That last pic is insane and it is hard to believe just how big those waves are, they make that monsterous ship look like a toy.
JeepCop Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 That is insane! I trust everything turned out okay?
Ken Gargett Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 » just like to declare to rob and the rest of the guys, I join in the holy » crusade against ken.. :-D just found this post. first, while in no way impinging on your motives nor disputing your misguided right to join whatever crusade you wish (tho for kiwis, it is normally against shepherds), can i ask what possible reason for that post here? next, the reason rob would not like to be a merchant sailor is because it would actually involve real work.
Cam Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 » would actually involve real work. LOL well ken, I have nothing against you really, I just want you to know I seriously know nothing about bats and my cigars are precious to me, if they eat them im going to kill the bastards, but im going to be cigarless also, its better to be safe than sorry :-) :-D
Ginseng Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Amazing photos, Rob! Here's one case of the ingenuity of man holding its own against the forces of nature, just barely. Still, you get the sense that nature could ramp up the few fury a few notches and the game would be over. Very humbling. Wilkey
