Ken Gargett Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 » Ken.....I normally like to vet the photo's trust me, i'm saving the goodies with you for better things, like guess the bonefish comps etc.
JohnnyTex Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Awesome pics fellas. Ken I thought my father was the only one who dressed like that while fishing, granted you're being safe as he is, but that doesn't stop me from laughing. I will say my father is a bit worse if you can imagine that. I swear if he could he'd wear one of these.

Ken Gargett Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 » These are my lucky Tommy Hilfiger sleeping and fishing shorts. They saw » plenty of action in Cuba. they look like a rainbow threw up.

The only person to get sunburn't was yourself....you forgot to cover your head :-D Next year.....a balaclava to finish the outfit ;-)
phxkev Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Judging from the photos, I guess there are very few women in Cuba.
Ken Gargett Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 » Judging from the photos, I guess there are very few women in Cuba. any idea how many death threats i have rec'd from my mates if i give the impression that there are ANY women in cuba, in case anyone should get what really would be completely the wrong idea. though now you mention it, i'm sure you shouldn't read much into the fact that i am the only bloke on the trip to actually appear in any photos with women. i'm sure that was just a coincidence.
JMH Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Thanks for the photos ken. Could I suggest (or request?) putting rob in a few incriminating poses next trip when he's passed out?
Cam Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 even our sandflies dislike australians, but your dingos eat our babies, looks like you guys had fun I Iwouldnt mind going on the next tour!

Freefallguy Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Techno challenged or not you’ve got some great shots of a country so close yet so far from the reach of us Yanks. I’m truly jealous. Having said that… my first reaction in scrolling down to your angler garb was “Oh my God!”
Moglman Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Fantastic pictures Ken!!! Thank you for the posts. What a wonderful time. I would love more opportunity at bonefish as well, and the ones I've caught were like you mentioned. While the guide was otherwise occupied, I spotted the schools, made the casts and landed the fish. Definitely looks like a special place.
smokum Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Great pics...I would love to visit there someday....latin women....arrrrgh...
Taino Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Would it be possible to see pictures of side "B" of the trip?
Well Armed Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I have never even heard of such a dorky idea for a fishing outfit. Not even MY DAD would pull something so ****!! Ken, next time a full lycra suite don't leave any of your skin exposed to the elements when out in nature lol!!
Ken Gargett Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 » I have never even heard of such a dorky idea for a fishing outfit. it was first class nz merino wool. surprisingly cool, extremely light, dries in seconds, extremely comfortable. laugh all you want - i am a fan.
Mr. Japan Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Grazie Ken, I feel so bad , and at same time, happy, seeing photos of Cuba, Cubans and..
