Partagas D1 or D2

I've been thinking about getting a box of these, but can't decide which. Right now I only have $$$ for one. Of the two, which would you go with, and is it worth springing for the other down the road?

I'd save my money and buy two boxes of something else! Don't be fooled by the limited edition label

Partagas is offering so many great regular production cigars right now. Unless I already had a collection that included, at least:

PSP2 Piramide

PSD4 Robusto

Series du Connaisseur No's 1, 2 and 3

898 Varnished

Coronas

Shorts

Well, I'd just pass on the EL's for now.

I agree I would spend the money on 898V or PSD4s.

But IMHO the two you refer to are not much different except for size. So if you must, include that in your decision. :-)

Have you tried either one?

I agree with the others, go with the SDC #2 or a 50 cab of shorts. I wasn't overly impressed with the D1 or D2.

Definitely every one of these is a must! If you want an EL get some of the 2006 PSD3's

I have about five each of the PSP2, PSD4, 898V, and Partagas de Partagas no1. I went through some Shorts, and while they were good, they didn't blow me away. I am a big fan of the others, and plan on buying boxes of them, but was thinking of jumping on the ELs while they are around. I have the PSD3 2006 on the way now, as I couldn't pass up on Partagas in a corona gorda. If the 2001 were still on the table, I would have gone that way, but they are long gone. I heard the 1 and 2 were somewhat close to these, and while the 06 were good, don't compare to the 01.
