Shooter Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 When I smoke a cigar so good that I savor the aftertaste for hours on end, it inspires me to write about it. This was a dark, shiny Bolivar from a cabinet from 2000. Everything about this cigar was perfect. The burn, the aged Bolivar tastes, the smoke-volume, the draw, you name-it. I sipped some Reserve Muscat with it (from Australia!) and relaxed for over an hour. THIS is why we smoke cigars. I'm VERY content right now. It'll be hard to top this one in the near future!
ThreeD Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I here ya on that. It is one of the finer things in life that we cigar smokers have that other people don't. When you start out on the journey that a good quality smoke can give you and you enter that zone where it is simply bliss. Yea, that's why I enjoy cigars too.
anacostiakat Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I have some '98s that are delicious. I do not think I have met a Boli I didnt like yet.
cigardawg Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I hear you on this cigar. I am smoking from cabinets from both '98 and '99 that are simply superb. Probably my favorite Bolivars to date. Thanks for the review.
Well Armed Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I have a 2000 cab of these and they are the phuckin' bomb! So Bolivar. They are like chewing an old leather belt and washing it down with a fine aged scotch.
