El Presidente Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 He left his apartment to a super model friend while he was on a 4 day interstate wine tasting assignment. Arrived back to find the shower on. Friend departed the day before. Apartment flooded. The bad news is self evident. Wet carpets, wet floors etc. etc. The good news is that for thefirst time in a long time......the bathroom is now clean  I wish I was there to give you a hand mate
ilikecigars Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 ouch, i had a leak once..royal pain in the arse it was...biggest thing you want to watch out for besides the obvious damage is MOLD...the stuff can be a real problem if you dont use something to kill it before it forms...it doesnt pop up untill days, weeks or months later but it can if you dont treat for it now.
Ken Gargett Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 guys, you need to get your robometers working. there are some obvious flaws in this which should alert you immediately to rob's porkies. what self-respecting bloke with half a breath in his body would have a supermodel to his unit and then go away for four days. next you'll be believing rob never sells fakes!
shrink Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 I wish I was there to give you a hand mate I am sure that Ken can take a "leak" without any assistance... ;-)

rumrogue Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Spell checkers mate. What is far more surprising is that I thought of it in the first place! :-)
El Presidente Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 ken, ...just come out of the closet. We are all friends here :-D
Ken Gargett Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 » Spell checkers mate. i like my spell checker - it keeps trying to turn 'cheque' (for our american friends and others for which english is a second language, as in bank check) into tequilla. if only it could do it for real!
rumrogue Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Ah, yes. A whole new world of Yank imperialism opens up when you go that route. Quaint at times though. Bless 'em. ;-)
