Medium bodied smoke with a nice citrus tang that becomes very more-ish. I liked it with a nice cold wheat beer. I reckon it's a good summer balcony smoke. Liked it a lot as it was something a bit different. Enjoy some now and let a few rest and compare. That would be interesting. Let us know how you go. :-D

One of the most memorable cigars I have had in the past 5 years was a 1998 Medaille d'Or No 1 enjoyed at a divan in Havana with Ken in February 2005. Citrus Tang is correct....glorius....smooth....complex.

I always keep a few boxes in my humidor at home as I enjoy the flavour profile and the size. When I feel the need to look intelligent....I reach for it ;-)

Nice spicy flavor & medium body. Still can find some aged ones around. A little to thin for my preference, but great flavor.

never had one, but i do know the '98 LGC M #2's are fantastic.

Perfect timing Patrick! I plan to smoke one of these this evening at our local get together. The box I have is OSU MAY02 and these cigars are wondrful. When you take the time to smoke these slow the flavors come from everywhere, baking spices, sea salt, citrus, and honey. None of the flavors are "in your face" strong, just subtle and enjoyable. If you can bring the smoke through your nose it really enhances these flavors.

You made a wise choice! Enjoy!

Have been smoking from the identical box code. I have to agree with everything you said. Fantastic cigars.
