Any good honest opinions on Montecristo A's would be appreciated, I'm thinking about buying a few boxes and aging them with my other big cigars, im just a bit scared to experiment considering the price and size.

They are rather mild to me. I prefer the Sancho Sancho although discontinued. :crying:

I'll second that!! The Sancho was one of the best cigars of I have ever had :ok: .

The Montecristo A is a mild creamy with mocha type of cigar. Burns for me at least 3 hours. Now I enjoy them once in a "Blue Moon", because, after 3+ hours with the same cigar, they tend to get to the point that I am tired of them and want something else. May I suggest that you get 5, and let them age, the Monte A is not a cigar that you can rush and it takes a very long time to smoke one and enjoy it.

Cam, track them down in Coffins and buy 10. Then buy 10 Sancho Panza Sancho's and you have the best of both worlds.

depending on budget, i would make sure you had a few of each. with a little time, the sanchos give a really good account of themselves.

I've managed to get my hands on 5 monte A's and 5 Sancho Sancho's for free, so I'll let them settle in my humidor for a few weeks then smoke the babies.
