Any thoughts on the 06's so far? And for El Prez are there any 06's that stand out at the moment or have good potential, I know it is really early to tell.

OEB factory Por Larannaga from MAR and Diplomaticos from MAY have been stunningly excellent. The PLPCs are unbelievable from the Czar cab. CoRos too from this factory and date range are also excellent. All above cigars show excellent potential but are so good now it will be hard to age them long.

I have not yet seen a dud 06. I am finding them noticeably stronger than 05's and in fact stronger across the board than anything since 96. I can only suggest better ligero is being used. We are only seeing to MAY 06 production at this time but let's see how the rest of the year pans out. One thing that is also standing out is that the wrapper is not as visually perfect (again...across the board) as 05. Damn tasty however.

I've had a couple 06s so far and I have found them to be better than the 05s when they were the same age. PLPCs, again were the highlight of the group.

My '06 PLPC and BBF are smoking great. I've had a few draw issues with the PLPCs though.
