ERdM Choix Supreme?

Recommended Posts

Anyone got any good reviews or bad, both are helpful? I got a box untouched of 2005 that I am gonna break out next weekend for myself and myself only during my wedding weekend. They have been in my coolidor for about 4 months now. I got high hopes for these guys. Thanks!!

By coincidence I smoked one of these last night. I have had a few in the past as well.

To me this was a very enjoyable cigar, but with an unusual taste. I got a mildly sweet, fruity, almost raisin like taste that predominated. This was unlike any other CC I have smoked.

The cigar was beautifuly made, gave off a rich volume of smoke, and burned perfectly throughout. Overall I would give it 4 out of a possible 6 smoke rings.

So I think that you have a real treat ahead, both with the wedding and with cracking open this box of great cigars. This cigar has a distinctive enough taste that it should be memorable and would be a real treat on a special occasion.

» A "staple" in most humidors. With just a little age, they are very good

» with some "real" age (at least 3+ years) they are great

A little too mild for my taste, but most people seem to love them.

I love them as well, and even though they are mild, they have tons of flavor.

I have a 2005 cab and they are not mild. Medium at least. Tons of potential for greatness. They seem harsh now. In a few years I think they may be steller. Love that ERDM aroma.

A very good cigar...

They tend to be fairly mild and bland when young, but with a year or so on them they begin to really develop personality. Can be a very complex smoke with interesting transitions of flavors. Time seems to really effect these. It seems as though this cigar is in a constant state of chnage as it grows older.

It may not be the king of the robusto size but it certainly is a go to for many...

Patrick the body of these cigars picked up in 2005. It would now be definately Medium...medium/full as opposed to mild.

I smoked one outside yesterday, because this thread got me wondering how my last one of three would taste. The first two seemed mild, but I had smoked a different stick before each (bad idea). This afternoon smoke started off mild, but more flavorful than I remembered the first two from nearly two months ago. What tasted mild in the first third, built as I smoked and ended up reminding me of some Bolivar flavors I've enjoyed very much. I'm giving this stick some second thoughts.
