JAL Posted May 27, 2006 Posted May 27, 2006 First off - Thanks to Rob and Lisa for putting up with my constant questions and general stupidity :-). Woke this morning and looked forward to some time to relax and enjoy myself. Of course, this would mean a great cigar and in this case a nice cappuccino to go with it instead of my normal espresso. The cigar is the Juan Lopez #1 Box Code OWH AGO 05 - This is a great, at least to me, Mild-Medium cigar with a amazingly complex flavor. This is also the reason I chose the capp over the straight espresso. Big thanks to Rob for suggesting this smoke. The coffee is Espresso Vivace - Vita Blend - Roasted 05/25/06. Yes, for you expresso fans it's a little early to be using this and it should be allowed to degass a bit more but in milk it was great anyway;-). Anyway, this thread is usless without photos :-P so here are some bad attemps but better then nothing. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out and hello to all here on the forum. I always lurk but almost never post - they call me the thread killer :-D . John

El Presidente Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 You're pic made my mouth water Boli Corona Extra with a nice Quartz Reef Pinot.
Ken Gargett Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 » You're pic made my mouth water » » Boli Corona Extra with a nice Quartz Reef Pinot. that would be the same quartz reef that you bagged interminably when i served it to you?
El Presidente Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 I have always complained that it is thin structured poofter pinot. It does make nice Sangria. It is the reason I drink it at 10:30 am. I still have 3 bottles left of the crap....after listening to your "buy" recommendation.
shrink Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 » I have always complained that it is thin structured poofter pinot. It does make nice Sangria. Hey, I like the stuff. Rich stonefruit nose with meatstock underpinnings!:-P

Guest crossbow Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 PSD 3 EL 2002 doing yard work in the afternoon. and previously Juan Lopez #1 2001 with freshly ground Costa Rican coffee in the morning. Excellent flavors...The PSD 3 is a good smoke while working while the JL#1 is really quite tasty and goes well with the coffee. Cigarflip is right, life IS good!!
Claudius Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 > Had Peets coffee and a Partagas Series P2 And I thought Iwas the only one smoking Partagas in the morning... :-D Had a Cuaba Salomones this morning :-)
