Guest boss hogg Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 When I recently had a chance to meet El Presidente, I was shocked to hear some of their stories about Papua New Guinea and Fiji. It's not a part of the less-developed world that we gringos usually hear about. There's an epidemiologist in our family who has spent a lot of time in PNG. This one tops the cake: he has seen PNG women BREAST FEEDING BABY PIGS! What's your wildest story?
Colt45 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 » What's your wildest story? I know someone who tried to milk a bull once.

El Presidente Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Hi Dave Looking forward to your next trip downunder when we can sit on the Verandah again and enjoy copious cigars and rum. PNG is one of the last great fronteirs. Unfortunately, such a beautifull country which should be at the forefront of envirotourism is more akin to dodge city. Law and oder exists only in the statutes of parliament. Without doubt some of the best fishing and diving in the world. Also some of the worst violence. You need to be committed to working there. The story you were told of people being hacked to death with machete's outside of the "foreigner" residential compound is unfortunately not an isolated insidence. The guys who were with us the afternoon you were down have run their company in PNG for 17 years.
