It would have been a lot easier to ask for all those who have not been banned to contact me. As an update. I have been contacted now by 1 short of 50 people which leaves only one person (now blocked) yet to make contact for an explanation. All members have been cleared to post. Just a reminder. Friends of Habanos is the cigar board version of Switzerland (...I am talking neutraliy...not the fact that we are Nazi Bankers ;-) ). Unless unrefutable evidence is provided to me that a member has been banned from another board for issues relating to personal slander, thievery pertaining to cigar trades, proven sale or knowledgeable trading of fakes etc, they will remain as members unless their subsequent behaviour here or elsewhere leaves that situation to be untennable. Personal non cigar related issues cut little weight with me as to be fair to all parties such issues require investigation....which I am not prepared to do. I don't care if someone made a pass at your wife at the last Herf. I don't care if in 1999 someone sent you a suspect Cohiba Robusto in a trade. Do you get my drift? At FOH, you leave your guns at the door and you play nice. There have been NO reasons for me to intervene to date and I expect no-one will give me any. If you do, have no doubt that I will kick your wrinkled ass out of here and carry a grudge for life. I am proud of this Forum that you have built. End of announcement. The head man sets the tone and in this case, aside from occasional weakness regarding fish related issues, it's far and above any other board I know.
