What was the size of the kangaroo? That looks like a carpet python, they don't get that big. Unless my python ID skills are that old in which case it could be an amethystine python...they do get large.

That meal should last him (or her, I can not tell the difference in snakes) quite a while. Phew, I am glad that thing lives in the wild, I would hate to walk into the bathroom after it relieved its self! :surprised:

First off, that's just nasty!

Second, I can't help but wonder how many snakes who've just eaten something like that are immediately killed and eaten by something else. They have to be super vulnerable with a big-ass kangaroo in 'em. Can they even move like that?

A friend sent me a few shots of a large snake eating a kangeroo.

I don't think the snake will need a feed for awhile.

That's pretty disgusting. I would probably wait until it was snoozin' and immobile and then club it 'round the head a bit.
