El Presidente Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 I went through a box of these in Havana and they were the perfect early morning cigar. 5 inches x 37 Ring Guage.....look like a thinner version of the Petit Corona. Light on body...almost a Juan Lopez quality to them but with a milk caramel profile which accompanied the copious Pina Colada's very very well. I shared a few with Hamlet Paredes (who when I offered it to him at 6am thought I was ***) BUT HE NUBBED IT. Not always the prettiest stick, can have a soft spot or two...but the flavour profile is consistent as was the burn. These were young cigars (NOV 05) but when they do become available over the coming months I will lay some down. One thing about them is they need to be smoked slowly in my opinion so the do not become hot, which at least for me they lose the flavor due to being hot, but when smoked slow, they are divine!
