brief one today as nearing the finish line and a heap to do.

spent a little time in old havana and lunched at the hotel with rob´s secret police. the place just gets more mad hatter all the time. trying hard to remember tuesday night but can´t.

wed was italian dinner night at the melia cohiba but a visit to el laguita in the morning. beautiful factory but the info that comes out still scattered. 700 cigars made a day? think they mean 7000. insist no draw machines. we passed several. insist only cohiba made there and so on. far too many people trying to do it.

liberace, krusty and i headed down to the cathedral for a drink. rob busy with ernesto. some spat about matching hankies.

rob decides we´ll walk to the dinner as it is only two minutes down the hill. 40 minutes later we are in some suburb none of us have ever seen and hopelessly lost. the dinner was not a patch on last year´s canadian effort. the sealbashers really turned it on. italy had a two star michelin chef (they must have two star chefs working at macdonalds). bog average. dessert a disgrace. wines not forthcoming. good cigars. had a couple of terrific cohiba exquisitos and a really good partagas d4 lately.

next day, rob abd ernesto trying to sort out their spat so the three of us went bonefishing again. it is just so good. another briilaint day.

gotta go, rob and ernesto are throwing things at each other.

Ken, thanks, again, for your reports - but, with statements like this:

» next day, rob abd ernesto trying to sort out their spat so the three of

» us went bonefishing again.

Could you please clarify your definition of "bone" fishing?!
