disappointed there was no cigar club

I'm starting uni this year at sydney uni, and this week is orientation week where you can go and see all the different student clubs there are and join what interests you and what not.

There were about 80 different clubs, and there was no cigar club! What is this? There was a freaking medieval club for crying out loud! There are clubs for literally anything that you can think of, except of course cigars, and with the government abolishing compulsory union fees, it looks like there never will be one.

Maybe I should try and start one up next year and see what happens?

mate, with VSU coming in good luck trying to get funding...I'm sure more less threatening groups like Chess players of Jesus would get the cash before you did.....

But hey set it up independently, joining fee goes towards first cigar and regualr meeting on the uni green! You might get the old school english professors coming down for a smoke and a few left wing history teachers who want to talk about cuba joining you!

Most of the clubs now have a joining fee because of the lack of funding from VSU
