Tampa1257 Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I smoked a RASS tonight that was absolutely the best one I have ever smoked. The RASS did have a very strong white pepper taste on the very first draw, and while the peppery taste maintained in the background, the fruity tastes of citrus and dates and raisins combined with the pepper was intoxicating. The box code for this RASS was SSO Mar 02, so it was basically a 3 year old RASS. Tampa 1
lfg2nrg Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I have one of these in my humidor I just might have to smoke it now.
HawaiiBill Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 The Rass is simply an amazing cigar! I have had them from several different years and even more wrapper shades. But regardless, they ALWAYS come through like a champ! That reminds me. I will post a review of the one I got from Cal-Duck. It had, by far and way the darkest wrpper I ever seen on one. So dark in fact I thought it was an EL. That cigar was truly great! Mahalo Ducky!
Curmudgeon Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 Intriguing . . . I have a box of OSU MAR02 that I haven't touched in well over a year. I'll have to unearth it soon.
DW Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Just ordered some, wonder how the 04 will stack up, last ones i had were 03 and were great 1
AG Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I smoked one of these in Canada yesterday and I must say WOW! It was very tasty. If you haven't tried one yet, get your hands on one and smoke it, then you will find you will need a box of them.
jaylohawks Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 The ‘20’s I have had recently are top notch!
cigcars Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 *The Robusto size cigars are NOT my favorite size at all - at ALL. However, Ramon Allones is my most favorite brand of CC of all time. And because they've limited the size to primarily Robusto and Double Churchill I've had no choice but to sample those. And the RASS is a very do-able cigar for me, flavor and aroma-wise. I wish they'd return regular production lonsdales and toros. 2
