Gloves Off:  H. Upmann Connoisseur Number 1 V Saint Luis Rey Regio

Two superb cigars and when they more readily available, workhorses in my regular rotation.

Answer the poll questions assuming age of the cigars and construction quality being equal

Of course, answer only if you have tried both. ;)

Connie 1 it is for me too. It’s just got a bit more complexity.

The SLR Regios is just so unique. I can't imagine picking the Connie 1 over the SLR Regios. I'm not saying that the Connie 1 is a bad cigar, it just doesn't hold a candle to the more complex and unique smoke of the SLR Regios.

Both excellent cigars. Still, I wouldn't pass over a SLR Regio over a HUC 1...ever.

Straight down the SLR Regios line. I've had a couple of great Connie 1 but my box of SLR Regios have all been bangers. They seem harder to come by too so I'll take them as a prize and just buy more Connie 1 later down the road.

I was fortunate enough to pick up a 2024 box of SLR Regios last month. I feel like I need to smoke one soon, before my money brain decides they will be worth a lot more than what I paid for them in a few years, if I leave the box intact.

I've only smoked one SLR Regios in my life and it was one of the best cigars I've had for my palate. Hoping to find them again. I've never had the Connie 1 but if there's any comparison at all, I'd love to try it.
