That bloody Queensland ginger is saying today she wants to “cut the guts out” of the taxes. Are we all voting them in? She’s absolutely got the vote of all the tradies, all the old people with this. Even though it’s an absolute scam comment in that it’s nothing at all conclusive, and if she gets in she’ll cut it 100 bucks and call it sweet.

It's not policy. It's "the vibe". 

People are happy to vote on "the vibe" whether it be "inter-generational transfer of wealth" = "seizure of wealth" or "cut the guts out of taxes" = law of of the jungle capitalism style.
