pohlmad Posted May 26 Posted May 26 I have ‘taken the bait’ and gambled on these. I reserved a box of Padrón, box of Kelner, and a 12 cigar sampler. Hoping they are great, especially at that cost! 2 1
BrightonCorgi Posted May 26 Posted May 26 CT is supposed to have low tobacco taxes compared to the rest of New England. Lower retail prices are what they promote. 1
Popular Post JohnS Posted Sunday at 10:55 PM Author Popular Post Posted Sunday at 10:55 PM OpusX 25 Toro Heading to Tobacconist of Greenwich June 7, 2026 - Charlie Minato On Wednesday, Tobacconist of Greenwich will hold Titans of Tobacco, a unique multi-vendor event featuring principals from six different family-owned cigar companies, each of which is bringing an exclusive cigar to the event. The final cigar, Arturo Fuente’s entry, has been announced as an OpusX 25 Toro, specifically, a soft-pressed 6 x 52 toro. This is neither the first OpusX 25 Toro nor the first one to go to the Greenwich, Conn. retailer. Last fall, the store released a round toro as part of an annual Arturo Fuente event. Neither OpusX 25 toro is part of Arturo Fuente’s regular production price list. Full Article: https://halfwheel.com/opusx-25-toro-heading-to-tobacconist-of-greenwich/472414/ 4 1
Popular Post Thirds Posted Tuesday at 04:05 AM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 04:05 AM It’s a classy cigar shop. I’ve enjoyed some of their rare finds in years past. I was out east for work a few weeks back and dropped in to grab a few cigars and to see the place in person. The owner was in - very polite guy, sharply dressed. I complimented him on the shop and he said “we get to do some cool s**t”. They’ve been marketing these heavily via email. Tempted to take the bait on the sampler. Grabbed a box of their Padron Rare Finds “A Hammer and a Dream - Natural” earlier this year - excellent cigar. 4 1

Thirds Posted Tuesday at 04:40 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:40 PM Update - received the invite email for the Titans event, made the mistake of reading “when they are gone, they are gone” - triggered my FOMO red alert with a mere 7 words: 12 count sampler ordered (2 of each). It’ll scratch the itch while allowing me to tell myself I exhibited modest restraint. 2
