This series seeks to explore whether a particular cigar is humidor worthy.:cigar:

Cost these days is an issue for many so let's see if we can highlight some absolute standouts.  This should particularly assist those new to the cigar world.

To be fair, most of the cigars we have featured to date have scored exceptionally well. Surprisingly well!

Today: Punch Petit Coronation  Tubos 40 × 117 mm (4⅝″)

I find the  Punch Petit Coronation Tubo to be a reliable, medium-bodied Cuban classic. Its earthy, cedar foundation is excellent, blending into a smooth, creamy, earthy finish with some toasted almond notes. Light savoury spices nuance in and out for me. It is a straightforward, not overly complex cigar that brings enough personality without overpowering in any way.

Petit Coronations, Royal Coronation, Coronations. Incredibly underrated. Very reliable in regard to construction blend consistency and flavour. I miss being able to go through international airports and grabbing a handful of these cigars on the way through. One of the cheaper Cuban cigars you can pick up in Australia that won't let you down. I love them.

I love these for what they are, a good quick smoke that I can always count on. I love this size because it fits so many moments where I try to squeeze a quick cigar in. Cheap enough that if I run out of time, I don’t get too worried putting it out early. In my experience, you can never go wrong with Punch.

I love cheap tubos and these used to be one of my staples. All gone now but when I had these, I used to just set them in the bottom of the coolidor and forget about them. I picked one up at ~ 13 years old and wow, what a great cigar. I also opened one at 6 years old and it was terrible. They used to be so cheap that you didn't care.
