MoeFOH Posted March 9 Posted March 9 MARCH EDITION Backstory... Back in late Oct 25 our Honduras Fabrica 5 team downed tools, pulled some cold beers, lit up a Fab 5 cigars, and held their first proper brainstorming session. We have been running flat out for six months and this was our first "all in" event. I zoomed in for the meeting and was again blown away by their passion and engagement. They showed me the first of the new Fabrica 5 Photo Boards, a wall of photos celebrating the people who smoke and love their work. Their idea is simple. They want Fabrica 5 cigar lovers around the world to send in photos of themselves enjoying the cigars they make. Each month they will post the photos on the boards, draw one name, and roll a wheel of cigars for that person free of charge. It is a beautiful thing. They want to go to work surrounded by the faces of the people who enjoy what they craft. We will use this thread as the medium for members to post your photos. There are only a few guidelines. It can be any Desnudo/MOFOH or BOND ROBERTS Cigar. Your face/mug and cigar need to be in the photo. Dogs, cats, goldfish, wife, mistress are all welcome. We will pick the winners on the first Tuesday of each month. Winner will be posted and I will PM the winner. Winner will have a choice for their favourite unbanded half-wheel of cigars (50). Short note from the roller will accompany them. No charge. I will post photos of the cigars being rolled once we have our first winner and his selection. They will be brought into Florida along with our normal shipments and sent to you from there. As long as it is a different Fabrica 5 cigar, you can send through as many as you like. New competition starts each month. You can post your photos progressively during the month on this thread. 4

Popular Post Smatthews607 Posted March 12 Popular Post Posted March 12 A little late in posting this, but Sunday was the first day of 70°F and sun here in a long time. Got to break out a Churchill and relax after a too long winter. 10

Popular Post El Niño Posted March 12 Popular Post Posted March 12 Temperature plummeted in Middle TN, BUT WE WILL NOT BE STOPPED. I'm also working on my impression of Bad Bunny. "Tití me pregunto si fumo mucha' puro". 8
Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted March 12 Popular Post Posted March 12 Enjoying the first Fat Fundy from a bundle I bought myself for my birthday! Its good ROTT but I know these are great with a few months rest! 9
Popular Post Mr. DD Posted March 13 Popular Post Posted March 13 I’m enjoying a Carlota in the late afternoon shade. I can’t believe the outside temp. got to 93 deg. F (34 deg.C) today. 10
Popular Post Needmoarspace Posted March 13 Popular Post Posted March 13 Mofoh Piramide Corta Suave. Delicious! 7
Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted March 13 Popular Post Posted March 13 The N2 has to be the greatest constructed piramides in existence! I don't reach for these very often. I find myself going for the Lonsdale, Fat Fundy, Robusto or Petit Corona as they are humidor mainstay favorites for me. However, when I do pick these up, I marvel at the construction. I've had too many poorly constructed Monte No.2s and even NC torpedoes that have biased me against the vitola. The balanced flavor and nuanced complexity is very enjoyable. 9
Popular Post Needmoarspace Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 I had to do a back to back. The Piramide Corto hit so good I had to compare it with the Bond Roberts. Nothing has compared to the flavor and journey the BR 106 provide. 7
Popular Post carsncigarsuk Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 Corta Suave ---- Pure coffee and cream , a very unique tasting cigar. Lovely. Have a good weekend all. 6
Popular Post El Niño Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 A Robusto Trinity so good this morning that I think it would be my one and only desert island cigar. Yes, I'm aware my fleece is ridiculous. 7
Popular Post JPark3 Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 My fat head and a darker than usual Sovereign Suns. This bundle looks and tastes like Maduros. Very interesting. 7
Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted March 14 Popular Post Posted March 14 The Robusto Trinity is a humidor mainstay for me. Such a great cigar! 5
Popular Post Needmoarspace Posted March 16 Popular Post Posted March 16 First time trying a Churchill and it’s a Desnudo. This thing is huge! 8
Popular Post Ruggerpgh99 Posted March 16 Popular Post Posted March 16 This Piramide Corta Suave was a marvel. Absolutely blew my socks off. 5
Popular Post Ruggerpgh99 Posted March 16 Popular Post Posted March 16 This Ninfas was probably a bit too young, but it was great. I will let them rest a bit longer before going again, but I did take it all the way down. 7
Popular Post Needmoarspace Posted March 16 Popular Post Posted March 16 A 5 month rested Canonazo for breakfast while gardening. I love how the 50+ gauges start so mild then ramp up. 8
Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted March 17 Popular Post Posted March 17 2023 Carlota and coffee, breakfast of champions. 6
Popular Post Boxer31 Posted March 17 Popular Post Posted March 17 First one in a few weeks, a little break between downpours. 6
Popular Post carsncigarsuk Posted March 17 Popular Post Posted March 17 Smoking a 2023 N4 Petit Corona that I back to backed this morning with a Monty 4. The N4 beat the Monty on every front, construction and draw was perfect on the N4, Monty needed draw tooling and while the flavour profiles bear similarities the depth and finish on the N4 was for me the standout winner. I also found the N4 to be fuller bodied than the Monty. Ordered another bundle today. 7
