Unfortunately Facebook and META is a one man show. One man owns it and decides - he never needs to explain anything. The rule of tomorrow.

When you rely on others, you become part of their mercy. The amount of sellers on poshmark that are crying because poshmark changed their algorithm, claiming their livelihoods are ruined. Such a weird world we live in.

DP obviously also got hit, I don't think anyone came away unscathed.

I don't believe it's a mistake, I don't believe it's AI-driven. This has been an ongoing strategy for years now from large media companies. We saw it with Reddit quite a while ago now, Charlie has talked about Google intentionally lowering cigar website and content search results. TikTok and Instagram has filtered out cigar content recommendations for quite some time.

It's only going to get worse. Any time I've heard someone talk about only having a content stream on one platform, and how website or 'bloggers' are living in the past, I've pointed out that without a dedicated website platform you are vulnerable to the corporate whims of that platform.
