A lower priced Ferrari gets parked out front. TRUTH I've been lucky enough to drive all sorts of things, but never a Ferrari. Maserati over Porsche, but barely. 1

Though I also took no restrictions to mean I have an unlimited maintenance budget and can have a second one for all the time the first one spends in the shop 😂 If I only could have 1 car and had to pay my own repairs? Porsche. I'm not Italian, but this thought process is spot on to mine. And I chose Porsche assuming maintenance. 1
NYGuido Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I think this poll reveals who the dreamers are vs the realists. The dreamers will pick the Ferrari hoping it never breaks down. The realists pick the Porsche knowing it will just work. I, myself, am a dreamer, albeit a foolish one. 1 2
Chibearsv Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Thoughts of the top down, driving the Italian Riviera while single 20 something super models swoon at how cool you must be? Around here, It's 35 degrees, snows on the ground, stoplights every 1/4 mile, and the average speed limit is 35 mph. Dreamers...the whole lot of ya!

If driven regularly, any Ferrari manufactured in the last 25 years will not leave you stranded. Unfortunately, only a small percentage of Ferrari's are daily or near daily drivers. Mechanical failure is rare. Expensive cars have expensive parts. The parts don't ever get less expensive even though the car itself does. 2
