Can someone give me the tldr on this subject from last night? The idea was floated that other nation-states may be glad to bid on Chen Zhi's outstanding shares. 1

Could Cuba lease China land or do something the US would find quite provocative? Almost zero. They could ship them some supplies but the distance is simply too great. Militarily, the Chinese will never intervene apart from sending some older equipment.
JohnnyO Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Chinese control the ports in Cuba, they have set up machinery and container services. Cuba is just another place to dump their products. There are also retail shops in Havana run by Chinese selling clothes, food, electronics. There are Chinese cars, motorcycles, generators and many other electronics all over the country being sold. There are nickel and chocolate factories near Baracoa (Cubas 1st city) that the Chinese may already have their hands in it. The Chinese wouldn't be there unless they could exploit their natural resources. John 1
