Cohiba Vistosos Goes on Sale in Andorra

The newest Cuban Cohiba has gone on sale in Andorra.

The Cohiba Vistosos measures 5 7/10 inches (145mm) x 53, a vitola known as the dinoras in the Cuban cigar naming system. It’s the same vitola as the Trinidad Esmeralda, and like that cigar, it too is made with a pigtail.

In Andorra, the cigars are priced at €270 ($314.92) per cigar and €2,700 ($3,147.21) per box. According to Maori Tabacs S.A., the distributor of Cuban cigars in Andorra, the Vistosos was released last month.

The Vistosos are packaged in special 10-count boxes that double as travel humidors. In addition, the Vistosos cigars feature a unique secondary band, which is a modified version of the main Cohiba band.

When the cigar was showcased during last year’s TFWA World Exhibition & Conference 2024 in Cannes, France, it was described as a release that would be exclusive to travel and duty-free retailers.

Makes you wonder what part of this blend makes it 250% more expensive than a Siglo VI. That’s a pretty eye watering price.

I’m guessing it won’t smoke 250% better and it’s a similar size. So it’s either the rarity…or the footband 😎
