Popular Post yuppie Posted October 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2025 Just cruising around CCWebsite and noticed there are some regionals that seem to have been announced that are still not even released yet? These vitoals are going to be very sought after and PL/JL are awesome brands. When should we expect these to be released? 5
Lucas Buck Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 They are typically a year or two late and sometimes never released at all. It’s a waiting game. 4
Popular Post smashed Posted October 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2025 Laguito No 2 special releases are always great! 5
Popular Post ATGroom Posted October 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 3, 2025 I expect both of these before the end of the year. 7 1

yuppie Posted October 3, 2025 Author Posted October 3, 2025 I must have the Por Larranaga offering, that vitola sounds perfect. 1
gormag38 Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 This is the one I've been looking forward to. Feel like it's the closest we'll ever get to them bringing BCG back. 3

Nothing official, but I suspect they may be cancelled. Montecristo Herederos - a strange one. They are the same "line" as the Romeo Cupidos and Partagas Aliados which are everywhere, and the Cohiba Novedosos which were very late and seem to be extraordinarily rare but at least do exist. The common cause blamed for delays in cigars like this is that Cuba can't get the fancy boxes, but they seem to have no problem producing many other things in fancy boxes. Very strange that these haven't materialised at all. Monte Almirantes, Punch Palmas Grandes, Hoyo Vueltabajo - The replica ancient humidor line was always intended to showcase old fashioned Cuban craftsmanship, as opposed to the more glitzy commemorative humidors. The commemoratives in the last few years have made the jump from $5,000 items to $20,000+ items, which has included a comparable jump in high quality finishes, razzle dazzle trick opening mechanisms etc. Because the replica ancients by definition have to be a recreation of an old humidor, I think they struggle to make the same jump in glitz as the commemoratives. Habanos doesn't want to keep them at their previous $4000ish price point but also doesn't know what to do to get them to $20k. That or the Cuban humidor makers are too busy making the commemoratives. Given that no new entries in this line have been announced since the change in ownership, and none of the outstanding stuff has materialised, I suspect the line my be cancelled. Diplomaticos Lideres - another strange one. I know a good quantity of these have been produced, but I've also never seen a box for sale. I suspect maybe they were effectively a private commission for Habanos' Chinese partners and are just available at their venues in Asia. You'd think at least a few would get out via Hong Kong though. A mystery. QdO Especial d'Osay - I'm sure these will materialise at some point, although no indication that it will be anytime soon. RyJ Short Churchills Reserva and SC Reinas - if I had to guess I'd say these will appear around the time of the festival next year. 7 2
Marco_011t556 Posted October 5, 2025 Posted October 5, 2025 Have seen and smoked some of these...but I bet they are not “genuine”, including the Montecristo Herederos, San Cristobal Reinas, Diplomatic Cancilleres, Por Larrañaga Intemporales Exclusivo Suiza. Also, I have seen the Bolivar Royal Gigantes (book), but people in Cuba told me that they haven't starting rolling them, so I don’t even smoke them.😂😂 As for Diplomaticos Lideres, I heard that it will be released and “sold” in China by the end of this year, starting with Shenzhen and Shanghai. 2000 boxes in total. 3

The list won’t be possible without your database. I really hope that Habanos rethinks the antique humidor series. The unique size and cigars have always been an interesting concept and would definitely have people willing to pay today’s prices. Habanos should also move from piecemeal releases to releasing everything at once to be fair to markets. 1

yuppie Posted October 5, 2025 Author Posted October 5, 2025 Just give me a slide lid box in cabs of 25 and 50. They can keep the antique humidors and glossy varnish. 2

They're in boîte nature boxes of 10, so 2000 would be below minimum RE quantity. Would expect 6000-10,000. 8,888 seems more likely than not. The strange thing is that a lot of people seem to have these already as singles, but I've never seen so much as a picture of a box.
yuppie Posted October 6, 2025 Author Posted October 6, 2025 See, they did the PL Coronas right: cabinet of 50 1

These were highly anticipated, kind of tough to acquire, and were kind of a let down. One was plugged (which I rarely ever encounter), one was really good with the DNA of PL, and a few were kind of meh. Need to try one again soon, maybe age has helped. YMMV. Sending you a DM now on a previous discussion we’ve had. 1

Plenty of that PL flavor in one of my favorite vitolas. I'm looking forward to trying the first one from this box a couple months from now.
