The Davidoff of Geneva flagship store located at 515 Madison Avenue reopened last week after a lengthy renovation. In celebration, Davidoff of Geneva USA will be hosting a series of exclusive events for clients and partners from August to October. “We’re thrilled to reopen our Madison Avenue boutique and welcome guests into this elevated space,” says Lana Fraser, head of marketing and retail at Davidoff of Geneva USA. “This renovation reflects our continued dedication to providing not only the finest cigars but also an immersive experience where hospitality, design and craftsmanship meet. It’s a true destination for the modern cigar connoisseur.” Measuring 3,300 square feet, the renovated space includes a redesigned sales floor, along with two cigar lounges. Featuring cuboid leather armchairs and multiple televisions, the lounges are available to accommodate both social gatherings and private events. Two tiers of membership are available for purchase: Private Lounge ($1,400) and Locker Membership ($3,400). The former allows patrons to smoke in one of the store lounges, while the latter allows members to store their cigars securely in one of 75 lockers, plus includes lounge access. At the center of the store is a large walk-in humidor behind glass, which not only has premium brands from Davidoff’s portfolio such as Davidoff, Avo and Camacho, but also other brands including Ashton and Arturo Fuente. In place of a chandelier, the humidor strikingly features a hanging display of tobacco leaves. Davidoff also has a cigar store at 1390 Sixth Avenue (between 56th and 57th Streets). Earlier this year, the company announced it was shuttering its third Manhattan store located at Brookfield Place. Zonum Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 Will definitely check it out. I’m from California but in Pennsylvania for work I will be making the drive! Thank you for posting! 1
BG318 Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 Used to be my go to back in the nineties. Really pricey to get a day pass to smoke in the lounge now, but it's a sleek place with a great selection of cigars and accessories. Service is great too. 2
JohnS Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 Davidoff On NYC’s Madison Avenue Gets Its Grand Opening Davidoff of Geneva celebrated the re-opening of its flagship store in Manhattan Sep 15, 2025 - By Gregory Mottola Emanuele Uccellini, president of Davidoff's U.S. division, chief executive officer Beat Hauenstein and store manager Ashraf Eltoumi kick off the grand opening at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Photos/Davidoff of Geneva Top brass from Davidoff of Geneva flew into New York City last week to oversee the grand re-opening of its flagship store on Madison Avenue. Chief executive officer Beat Hauenstein and Emanuele Uccellini, president of the company’s U.S. division, were there for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, cocktail party and celebratory Chef’s Edition cigar afterward. The shop closed its doors in the winter for not only a full renovation but a complete rethinking of the store’s retail footprint. When it opened back up for business late last month, the entire layout of the store had changed. The most notable improvement was moving the humidor—which now features tobacco leaves hanging from the ceiling—from the back of the store, where it was awkwardly placed and not readily visible, up to the front. Now, a patron can get a complete sense for Davidoff’s entire product inventory—cigars and accessories—as soon as he or she walks in. Davidoff has been in New York City for nearly 40 years. It opened its first Manhattan store in 1987, relocated in 2000 and eventually moved to this spot on the corner of 53rd Street in 2010. There are two more stores in the city: one on Sixth Avenue near Central Park and another in Brooklyn done in partnership with Matador Cigars. Davidoff recently closed its Brookfield Place location in lower Manhattan. According to Hauenstein, the Madison Avenue flagship is among the three top-performing retail locations in the world, along with Hong Kong and Geneva. When asked why the New York market is important, he told Cigar Aficionado: “There is a culture of cigar smoking in New York, and the New York smokers are very knowledgeable, similar to the customers in Geneva.” Hauenstein also pointed to New York as being a very good test market for the rest of the country. Other improvements include not only new placement of the upstairs lounge, but an expanded, stylized lounge in the basement. At 3,300 square feet, the renovated store also offers two tiers of membership: Private Lounge ($1,400) and Locker Membership ($3,400). The former allows patrons to smoke in one of the store lounges, while the latter allows members to store their cigars in one of 75 lockers, plus includes lounge access. The lounges are for members only, however, a walk-in can gain access for the day by making a purchase of $250 or more. As expected, the humidor is stocked primarily with Davidoff cigars, but includes brands from third parties such as Padrón, Plasencia, My Father Cigars, Ashton, Arturo Fuente and Foundation. VeguerosMAN Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 $1400 per yearly membership is suprisingly resonable for Davidoff standard- unless it's monthly. 2

BrightonCorgi Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Can one bring guests if you are member? Does the lounge serve alcohol? $1,400 a year isn't bad if the location is not a hassle. 2
