El Presidente Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 If you have indulged in one of these, let us know how they looked/smoked
Popular Post LaoFan Posted July 3, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 3, 2025 Smoked one a couple of weeks ago. Looked: Great burn and construction. Nice wrapper. Smoked: Flavour was a bit boring... Put the rest down to see how they develop. 10 2
targa88 Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Humidor almost looks like a flashback to the HdM Double Epicure.
chasy Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Not sure what @LaoFan's Cuban consumption looked like prior to becoming active on the forum, but safe to say he has jumped in head first… 1

Now I refresh BR 10x a day and I’m aging boxes for a child I haven’t conceived—inside a walk-in humidor that cost more than my Harley. 6 3 3
Popular Post SUP8333 Posted July 4, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 4, 2025 At the end of our course in Cuba our Maestro gifted us one to smoke, it was so fresh it tasted like a fresh roll. 😅 The wrapper looks pristine, like the Linea Maestras. At the start it was pleasant with a Hoyo taste profile coming through...wood, cream and nuts. But it was so constant throughout the entire thing, exactly like @LaoFan said, it's boring, with loads of ammonia as well, so if I had a box I would age it for many years before cracking it open. I had another a few months down and it was similar so I would say 6 months of rest is insufficient as well. 7 2
JohnS Posted June 23 Posted June 23 I was gifted one by @ATGroom (thank you!) whilst catching up to celebrate Cuban Cigar Website's 20th Anniversary recently. It started off like a Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2; cedar, cream-textures, light cocoa, yet much more refined. As others have stated here, it then became one-dimensional and nondescript which suggests to me that it needs more time to settle to see how it will develop. 4
