My experience with custom rolls was mostly positive, definitely worth the price. But it really depends on the leafs a roller has access to. 

P.S. To smoke a fresh cigar rolled right in front of you is one of a kind experience.

I can imagine it is. I had a fresh NC rolled for me in Charleston (before I really picked up cigars) and ot was quite impressive.

Definitely hoping to try the Cuban farm rolls at some point.
