Popular Post GVan Posted June 30 Popular Post Posted June 30 Like many of you, I keep a spreadsheet of my collection. I'm usually pretty good at keeping it updated but every once in a while I forget to record another cigar smoked as one less in the inventory. I try and do an inventory update about once every 6 months and taste the cigars that are still aging. This also gives me a chance to check on the condition of some of the older Cubans. Several years ago, I added some new boxes to one of my coolidors and they raised the humidity such that a couple of the 2017 Por Larranaga Panetelas (which were on the bottom) had just started to get white mold spots on the heads. Of course, this also coincided with me not changing the batteries in the Govee WiFi Hygrometer (stupid, lazy me)! Yesterday was a rainy day in Florida and a good day to do an inventory. Counting open boxes and singles in the Humi, my total number of cigars had decreased by about 80 (pretty lazy record keeping aided by two guys golf trips). I'd also bought 7 NC boxes and 100 Nudies (Queen Corona, Trinity and Sovereign Suns) that were not on the spreadsheet. Amazingly, when in the coolidors, I found a box of SCdlH Principes (BRM MAR-22) that was not on my list. Even better, buried below a lot of boxes in the bottom coolidor was one package of 2021 Nudie "Ebony and Ivory" Lanceros that I thought (and were marked on the spreadsheet) as being all smoked. I am so excited that I have another box of my favorite morning coffee cigar as well as the amazing Maduro Lanceros that were on 🔥 . The Maduro Lanceros now have a prominent place in the humidor and are on a 30-day hold - can't wait to smoke 'em - but they were so good I won't waste one. Lastly, there are now 6 cigars in the Humi for ~ 30 day wait to taste their progression and see if they're ready to enter the smoking rotation. Crowned Heads Mil Dias Marranitos (3 yrs old) Crowned Heads Le Careme (3 yrs old) Illusione Haut 10 (4 yrs old) Southern Draw Fraternal Blue (4 yrs old) Bolivar Coronas Jr. (MSU AGO-18). These are all overfilled and incredibly strong. Right now the 19's are smoking better. Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2 (REG DIC-18) 12
JavierCorona Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I would believe that Hoyo Epicure #2 will smoke very well for you. Hope you enjoy them all! 1

Rhinoww Posted Tuesday at 01:45 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:45 AM I love surprises like that! It’s been three years since I did a full count, but still have a decent idea of what I have. Still, even with a spreadsheet with the cigars listed in the containers in which they are stored there are always surprises - usually customs I put in a wooden box and forgot about. I kinda leave Easter eggs to find for myself. 😂 1
OrionsCubans Posted Tuesday at 02:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:58 AM I love it. I once kept inventory until my box count exceeded 200 and stopped purchasing on a regular basis. The Epi 2s should be perfection by now. 1
SUP8333 Posted Tuesday at 05:27 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:27 PM I love finding cigars that I don't remember getting them. It's like buying it twice!
