El Presidente Posted Tuesday at 02:35 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:35 AM Cigars you come across that unexpectedly blow you away? I am tapping away on my laptop and pulled out of my humidor a cigar that was gifted to me. I have no idea what it it. It is a Petit Corona. The band is a little muted and my eyesight is not that great. What is this cigar people? It is smoking a solid 93. I took the photo early but it has held up throughout. 1
Havanaaddict Posted Tuesday at 02:46 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:46 AM This is what I found Warped Don Reynaldo Warped Don Reynaldo cigar is a medium body smoke that is crafted with aged Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos at the famed El Titan de Bronze factory down in Miami. It uses a special, medium brown Corojo wrapper the burns perfectly down to the end. It produces wonderful notes of cocoa, caramel and cinnamon, along with an undertone of dark fruit and sweetness. 2

It should be the Corona de Luxe, a special releaseSent from my CPH2451 using Tapatalk
Capn_Jackson Posted Tuesday at 03:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:58 AM That’s a Warped Don Reynaldo, and looks to be the Coronas de luxe. @Çnote and I did a TX Duo review of it just a little while back. Love the second half, especially
El Presidente Posted Tuesday at 04:00 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 04:00 AM Thank you good people. Superb cigar
Çnote Posted Tuesday at 04:25 AM Posted Tuesday at 04:25 AM I'd hasten to guess that's a 2018 rolled Regalos, not the Corona de Luxe. 1

BlueRidgeFly Posted Tuesday at 03:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:04 PM I bought two of these last summer and tried the first a week later. My notes say, “Pretty good, kind of one-dimensional but done well for the most part. Maybe some age would do the second one well.” So aging remains the plan for the other 👍

Well aged Trinidad Fundadores H Upmann Magnum 46 (always in my humidor, but never really "hungry" to intentionally get one out and smoke it. Always one of those cigars that I just stumble across, and think, "oh hey, maybe I'll have one of these", and then almost always think, about halfway into the stick, "this is a GREAT cigar, why the hell don't I smoke more of these?!?!?!" 3
Lucas Buck Posted Tuesday at 09:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:41 PM Smoked a Vegueros Marevas from ‘02 that was stellar. One of the best cigars in recent memory. Now I like Vegueros. Always considered them the poor man’s Cohiba. But this one was outstanding. 2

The original Warped Don Reynaldo release back in 2014 were easy candidates for the NCC cigar hall of fame. I thought the El Oso Papa's were also adjacent. Those were among the cigars that I went back to revisit leading up to my 50th birthday this year. Some amazing blends coming out of Aganorsa back then. You can add to those the original La Palina Goldie's. 4
