I saw that someone that posted on the CC Reddit page about their pull from Andorra. They also posted the price list and it seems like everything price wise is just way too good to be true? Like they have to be fake right? Anyone been there and can chime in? I have a friend that lives closeish so I might ask him to grab me a few boxes . If it is real, I am having the same feeling as when I first saw b00bs :lol3:

I don't know about Andorra, but I agree that boobs are great!

It used to be a heaven for CC lovers, many friends used to go there at least twice a year as their B&Ms were stocked and you could find almost anything at incredible prices.

But the latest news I got from there is they currently have really low supplies and that price list is not up to date, unfortunately 🥲

At one time, there were trusted sources on Andora — grey market — but I wouldn’t trust any now. The price list is quite unrealistic. Our host is one of the few sources that I trust now.

Always been fascinated how such a small market can command their own regional editions. Anyone care to share the history of their special relationship with Habanos? Is there a relationship between its tax haven history with it being a special market? Was there a uniquely powerful distributor sitting between Spain and France? I have heard that there is a real stigma regarding Spaniards visiting Andorra due to its tax haven status.

Spot on.

In my experience, French and Spanish smokers were always very welcome there.

Brother it says those prices were updated April of 2025. I will likely never go to Andorra, just curious if anyone has been there and I'd love to hear their experience. Post for reference.

Andorra used to be the European heaven for cigars. The Andorra cigar distributor/owner has a very long standing with Habanos. Until prices WW were unified by Habanos basically to fit HK Pacific pricing, Andorra was even cheaper than FOH.I skied there every winter for 4 consecutive years for that reason - full shelves and very cheap, but tough customs. You would most certainly be checked on the way out for your ration of 75 cigars/pax.

In 2020, I returned with the bulk of my family ready to empty the shelves for Cohiba Lanceros and Esplendidos which stood in stacks to the ceiling - many boxes easily 3-7 years on them. But they were all gone. Distributor moved them to the warehouse cellars to wait for the price adjustments, and bingo a year later they were all there again: prices 4x up. Disgusting business.

Now they hardly get anything in and they’ll sell you less, - no reason to go

Last time my friend was there he saw a box of Punch DC, I asked him to purchase it for me but they told him they wouldn't sell it if he didn't take a box of Cohiba 55 Aniversario first, this is how it goes now. Agreed, no cigar-related reason to go there anymore.

Oh btw @PirelliCndms my bad, you're right about the price list it is updated, anyone can access it through their website 👍

Wow, ripped stock off the shelf just to hold it for the upcoming price hike. Refusing to sale one thing unless you buy another!? I'd walk out saying "chinga tu madre". I'm sure it'd translate.

They're fluent in Spanish so they'd get it. 😉

Outside of cigars, I understand it's still a nice place to visit. Great skiing in the Winter and good hiking in the summer. I believe there's supposed to be a really nice spa there as well (presumably to help folks like me recover from my skiing and hiking).

I've wanted to visit Andorra as part of a larger trip exploring that region along with the east coast of Spain. Fly in to Barcelona, take the bus up to Andorra for a 2-3 days. Then travel back down towards Gibraltar over the course of 10 more days. Probably a pipe dream.

In Europe's Romance-based languages the adjective (so-called) normally follows the noun (place, i.e Andorra), but in English it's pretty much always the other way around. I promise you that's all I was thinking about. I wasn't trying to be clever! 😂

Andorra is good for cycling in the warmer weather as well.

Are there any cigar buying havens left?

Andorra is where the Andorians come from. Didn’t you people ever watch Star Trek? 🙄
