JohnS Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Please take this with a grain of salt. I have no idea exactly how this would catch on amongst cigar enthusiasts! Hulecos Introduces a Device for Cigar Preservation and Tasting May 8, 2025 - George Manzella Hulecos is a Swiss company that has developed a handheld device that will help cigar passionados elevate their smoking experience to a new level. This revolutionary gadget, called H1, is a dual purposed device that calculates the moisture content inside your humidor and individual cigars. There are two modes of operation: Preservation Mode and Tasting Mode. The Preservation Mode provides users with recommendations for adjusting their humidor to always achieve optimal moisture levels inside the humidor for proper care and aging of cigars. The Tasting Mode tests the humidity and water levels inside individual cigars so smokers can enjoy the nuanced flavors the cigar makers intended in each and every cigar they smoke. The device is very easy to use, with just a click of a button the easy-to-read screen displays clear and accurate readings with straight-forward recommendations. It easily fits inside your pocket so you can take it with you to your favorite cigar lounge to ensure you’re choosing the perfect cigar before you purchase it. Nevrknow Posted May 11 Posted May 11 I'm buying 3 ! It just HAS to be the shiznit because, as we all know, CC's are the very definition of consistency. I mean if it works on one it will work on ALL of them. Can I get a high five on this? 🤣 4

Lamboinee Posted May 12 Posted May 12 YAYYYY!!!!!! My wet (humid?) dreams have come true! Now all discussions of RH and humidity control can cease! Now all we have to do is argue over "Equilibrium Moisture Content"! Surely that metric will be beyond reproach! Oh wait...the device costs how much? Errrr...I don't think I can afford to agree on this issue. " The Hulecos Moisture Cigar Content calculates the EMC (Equilibrium Moisture Content) of the cigar. The EMC represents the water content that cigar leaves achieve when in equilibrium with the humidity of the surrounding air at a given temperature. The recommended EMC for cigars is typically between 12% and 15%, indicating that there are 12 to 15 grams of water for every 100 grams of cigar leaves. "- https://hulecos.com/#solution 2
