Popular Post ryre Posted May 4 Popular Post Posted May 4 Picked up a few singles from an LCDH a year and a half ago, and I'm guessing this Petit Corona is from 2023. Thinking about my recent cigar purchases, subconsciously, this vitola is either becoming a favorite or it's just the attractive price point. This cigar has a lighter wrapper compared to the ones I picked up from FOH recently. The draw was smooth with just the right amount of resistance for a perfect slow burn. The burn line stays clean throughout. The first third opens with a combination of hazelnut, cream, coffee, and a subtle sweetness. Light/ medium. As I got into the second third, the sweetness developed into caramel, and the nuttiness faded. The smoke output was great. In the final third, the intensity picked up. The cream is still there and the sweetness turns into burnt sugar. Like having crème brulee, that someone forgot to add vanilla to, alongside a coffee. Dare I say this cigar offers great value, at least in the current pricing era. Great stick! Burned for an hour and five minutes. 93/100 I’m looking forward to trying the darker wrapper ones I recently picked up. 6
