Popular Post Drguano Posted April 28 Popular Post Posted April 28 Ten days ago a stray kitten in excellent health wound up hiding between our neighbor’s garage and compost bin. Being down to two cats, I took it in and had it scanned and no chip. Numerous postings of lost cats brought no response. No signs appeared in the area. So she is now on the manifest but what to name her? Many possibilities were put forward and none fit. Then I came across this missive: “Some stories allege that Erwin Schrödinger had an actual cat, named Milton, and infer that the pet may have provided some inspiration to the physicist. However, Milton may — and may not — have existed at all; evidence of Schrödinger's cat ownership is sketchy at best. But then Schrödinger, we’re compelled to note, was pretty sketchy himself.” So, we are calling the new kitten Milton which may or may not be her real name. 12
riderpride Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Snowball VI after the Simpsons' cat. Alternatively- I've never heard of one named Mandu after the Nepalese city Cheers!
TheDonTX Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Havana? Something CC related would be cool. My two new cats are named after Paw Patrol. Yes…two cats named after dogs. It's what my girls wanted and they get what they want lol. Chase and Marshall. 1
JohnS Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I'd like to see your face if the owner got in contact with you and said the cat's name was actually @Drguano! 😂 1
Popular Post Chas.Alpha Posted April 28 Popular Post Posted April 28 The latest stray that has set up shop in my garage. Her name is Waffles. 8
MoeFOH Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I foresee an epic poem from this cat about its struggle on the streets, with fleas and worms, then into your good care... Title: Parasite Lost. 3
Chas.Alpha Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I was thinking of naming her “Furry Little Freeloader” but my wife objected. 😔
