Gubbins Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I was convinced I’d won a pack of these on sports betting comp, but lost on a tie breaker, gutted. Anyway, I just pulled the trigger on a 25 pack after seeing the 20% off offer. They’re cheap enough to begin with but ‘I’m supposed to be holding back’. How are these smoking then? I’m sure everyone’s have had time to acclimatise. I have had my eye on these since release and looking forward to getting my hands on them.

First hand experience with the 30+ days of rest making a big difference. I smoked one about 2 days after getting them in the mail and it tasted like a Parliament light. I had another one about a month later and there was a good amount of flavor. Still a slight green/vegetal note but way more enjoyable. Unfortunately those were the only 2 I had from the sampler, and my bundle of 25 arrived about 2 weeks ago, so the clock reset and it’ll be a few weeks until I have another. 1
ElLoboLoco Posted October 3 Posted October 3 They are very good. They were punchy when young but have chilled big time. To my tastes, they are cafe au lait. Good morning smoke, in my opinion. I would prefer a little more punch in them but keep in mind I smoke a lot of Nicaraguan Cigars that have more punch and don’t require a retrohale to get the subtleties. 1
habanohal Posted October 4 Posted October 4 It is now my morning cigar drive to work. Finish lasts a long time. 1
Chibearsv Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Great golf cigar. They haven’t changed much since 60 days down. Just a rock solid smooth smoke. 2
Gubbins Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Any New World or Cuban flavour profile you might compare them with?
