Li Bai Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I've always wondered what happens to those confiscated cigars 🤔 Will they be stored decently before finding a new home? Will they go to waste/get destroyed? Will an officer take them home and smoke them with friends?
BrightonCorgi Posted January 19 Posted January 19 The driver knew he was breaking the law. I don't feel sorry for him. 2
El Hoze Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I have crossed the border from Switzerland into Italy by car a few times. If you are expecting to just breeze through with a friendly wave you may be extremely surprised. Have your papers in order and be ready for them to look through your car. Much different than if you are entering from Austria via the Brenner Pass, nothing more than a welcome sign. You don’t even get a wave.

It's not the driver you should feel sorry for, it's for all of those poor orphaned cigars that no longer have a loving home. If I lived in Switzerland, I would certainly sign up to be a foster home for all of those poor cigars. 😏 1
