Redgoldband Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I used to live in Philly. Wish I’d been into cigars and more significantly, CCs, during my time there. Many a good lounge. Cigar friendly city. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Namisgr11 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Only one I've been to is the Ashton cigar bar in center city. It's a really nice upscale spot. Plus Holts, the oldest cigar store in the city, is right next door for selecting the evening pleasure or something to take home while you smoke something you brought. That Fishtown location looks really inviting, spacious and just the right mix of comfort and casual. It's another part of town with a quality restaurant scene, and stopping by that Smokin' Silverbacks afterwards would be perfect for a nightcap. If my wife and I bring our son along, he could be designated driver. 😊 1
MrBirdman Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Thanks John. Ashton is very swanky, and as long as it’s not too crowded it’s hard to beat. The cigars aren’t priced too bad at all, but the alcohol is eye-wateringly expensive. They do have an exceptional selection of whiskeys though. Cigar Republic is a very nice place to hang with buddies for a game or after work if you’re in the suburbs. Not worth a special trip from the city (very few things are worth braving I-76 during waking hours!). If anyone is in the Philly area and wants to grab a smoke feel free to DM me. I live in a suburb outside the city but go in from time to time. 4
BG318 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Holts also has an outpost in Northeast Philly, which features a wonderful lounge, with a fantastic staff. There is a new Holt's currently under construction across the street, which will also have a bar. 1
