Popular Post JohnS Posted November 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 25, 2024 An Oliva Cigar Just For The Carnegie Club Nov 19, 2024 - By Thomas Pappalardo Located a short distance from Central Park and Times Square, The Carnegie Club has been part of New York City’s now-dwindling cigar scene since 1996, with patrons able to sip cocktails and puff in peace. Next month, the lounge will have its own cigar brand, and it’s being made by Oliva Cigar Co. Called The Carnegie Club Presented by Oliva, it comes in one size, a box-pressed Torpedo measuring 6 inches by 52 ring gauge. The blend is all Nicaraguan, save for the Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, and according to Oliva, it's a medium-bodied smoke. (Photo/Oliva Cigar Co.) The Carnegie Club Presented by Oliva will only be available for purchase at The Carnegie Club or through their website and has a retail price of $38 each, or $380 per 10-count box. A release date has yet to be finalized but it’s expected to be ready in time for The Carnegie Club’s annual event celebrating Frank Sinatra’s birthday in December. BrightonCorgi Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 The Carnegie Club is a great time. They'll have a Sinatra style singer with a band that is top notch. Recommend paying them a visit if you want to enjoy a cigar in NYC. 4
lonsdaleto Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 Love the Carnegie Club. Was there when I was in NYC pre-COVID. Spent like 5 hours there after dinner. Cigars, cocktails, Frank Sinatra. Pure awesomeness. 2
JohnS Posted November 26, 2024 Author Posted November 26, 2024 The Carnegie Club Enters Collaboration with Oliva Cigars November 25, 2024 - Press Release Premium cigar brand, Oliva Cigars and the New York City cigar and cocktail lounge, The Carnegie Club, are collaborating to create a cigar brand. This is the first time The Carnegie Club has committed to a cigar brand featuring their name. It is to be launched at The Carnegie Club in December to coincide with the annual celebration of Frank Sinatra’s birthday. The final date is to be announced. The Carnegie Club has been a part of the New York cigar culture for more than two decades. Located in the heart of New York City, near Central Park across from Carnegie Hall, it has been a beacon of refinement, celebration and “rat pack” like entertainment. The exclusive Oliva cigar box will be an ode to the history and style of The Carnegie Club, honoring its design and embracing its look and feel. And just like with The Carnegie Club itself, it’s not only about what you see around you, but also about what happens on the inside. Each box contains ten rich and complex 6×52 Torpedos blended for the cigar connoisseur with a medium-bodied taste profile, which will appeal to most cigar lovers. Frederik Vandermarliere, owner of Oliva Cigars, is excited and about “two exclusive brands joining forces to honor the ultimate cigar experience: one that creates a union of taste, sophistication, social encounter and celebration of lifestyle. This is what it means to pursue ultimate quality. This is where we aim to be with Oliva.” Source: https://www.cigarjournal.com/the-carnegie-club-enters-collaboration-with-oliva-cigars/
BrightonCorgi Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I assume they'll sell them at the club to smoke? 1
Fuzz Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Food, booze, cigars and a Sinatra style singer? Sign me up! 1
PuroDiario Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Always a fun time and less pretentious than club Mac, which is pretentious for no reason. I wish it was located in a more convenient address in the city for me. 1
Li Bai Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 A friend of mine is in NY right now and he's smoked one yesterday at the club, amazing smoke it seems 🤔 1 2
