Popular Post Gamehawker Posted July 14, 2024 Popular Post Posted July 14, 2024 The H Upmann Connie 1 is my favorite cigar. These cigars used to be very reasonable priced. I got about 6 boxes of these in 2014 (with the same box code) and I still have 2 ½ boxes of this box code “USE NOV 11” and one sealed box of the beloved box code of “PLM MAY 11”. Seeing that they are my favorite cigar, I also have many boxes from 2015, 2016 and 2017 when the price was well under $200. But I regress, lets go on to the review of this cigar. I was smoking this treasured cigar on my back deck watching and being entertained by the woodpeckers today from my bird feeders. I cut it and the draw was perfect. The pre-lit taste was sweet and savory tobacco taste. Once lighting it up it had that cake-y cream taste with a touch of coffee, and nuts. The strength was medium. The second third continued with the flavors of cake-y biscuit cream and the coffee was replaced with a slight chocolate taste. The strength was still medium. The final third the evolved with a stronger flavors like in the 2ns third but still very smooth. The strength had increased to above medium. I took my time smoking and enjoying this jewel while watching the woodpeckers and smoked it to the nub in about 70 minutes. 😍 Even though this cigar is almost 13 years old, I think it has still got legs and will continue for smoke incredibly about 20 years of age.😊 An aged (7 years or older) H Upmann Connie 1 never disappoints and it is always a treat to smoke. I encourage anyone to have the patience to age them at least 5 -7 years or even longer to experience the true potential of the H Upmann Connie 1. 🤔❤️ I would rate this cigar a 98+ 12
